One never stops developing oneself and so, neither have I. Since 1985 I have been working as a therapist. I started with play-therapy (child psychology, EMDR and focussing), then I became a GZ-psychologist and clinical psychologist and worked with families, systems, adults and in organizations with teams and individual professionals. Besides that I am active as a supervisor for many other professionals. I built up a big practice with psychotherapists and psychologists for families, adults and children which grew fast and was sold five years ago.
In the past years I started my own practice again, but from a different starting point. I gave myself more space to look for the invisible, vulnerable, underlying aspects of the work and for the inner strength of every human being. I followed several courses, and became a certified mindfulness-trainer and equine assisted therapy (with the help of a horse), behavioristic as wel as intra-psychological and systemic.
Now I am focussed on coaching families, partner relationships, individuals and professional teams.
For me, voice dialogue is a fantastic method to explore together what or who plays part in the shaping of one’s life. It enables making profound choices with compassion for everything that is and to recognize recurring patterns.
I combine the method of voice dialogue with everything I have learned in the past and work with assistance from the horses when fit. The method I use depends on the needs of each individual.
Nature, playfulness and creativity are important motivators in life and work.
